Industrial Rope Access Training - IRATA Certified Courses




IRATA Level-1 (Basic)

This is a 5 day IRATA training course where training is given to candidates for Aid Climbing, Ascend and Descend, perform Rope Transfers, negotiate edges, Belays and rebelays. It also trains the candidates’ basic inspection of equipment’s, establish Basic Rigging, and perform basic rescue techniques and preparing candidates for the certification to IRATA Level-1.

This 5 day course shall be followed by a 1 day assessment facilitated by IRATS. By the end of the course candidates will be able to carry out various rope maneuvers under the supervision of a Level 3 supervisor, including rigging, checking personal equipment, basic rescues and height related legislation.

IRATA Level-2 (Intermediate)

This is a 5 day IRATA training course which trains the candidates who are with 1000 hours as IRATA level 1 with a minimum of 1 year experience working under the IRATA ICOP with a signed up to date logbook verified by an IRATA Level 3 supervisor. This course involves a more in-depth assessment on rigging ropes, rope related tasks and rope rescue techniques. The training shall be on advanced positioning, rigging and rescue; while preparing the candidates for the certification to Level-II.

This 5 days course shall be followed by a 1 day assessment, facilitated by IRATS Rope Access specialists. By the end of the course candidates will have greater skills and knowledge in Rope Access techniques. They will have a greater knowledge on current legislation, procedures and safety requirements.













IRATA Level-3 (Advanced)

This is a 5 day IRATA training course which trains the candidates who are with 1000 hours as IRATA level 2 with a minimum of 1 year experience working under the IRATA ICOP with a signed up to date logbook verified by an IRATA level 3 supervisor. The training shall focus on the challenging rescues; team leaderships, site supervision and managing job site safely. A special briefing and training will be provided for the preparation of job site documentation while preparing the candidates for the certification to L-III.

This 5 days training course is followed by a 1 day Rope Access assessment facilitated by IRATS Rope Access training center. By the end of the course they will be qualified to supervise any IRATA site work and will have greater skills and knowledge in Rope Access techniques including complex rescue techniques and will have a greater knowledge on current legislation, procedures and safety requirements.
